I HIGHLY recommend LoneStar Builders for all your cement/masonry requirements. A duplex was built next to my property, and the foundation was raised, which blocked the natural dissipation of water from my yard. Result: large quantities of water pooling in front of my garage requiring the use of sandbags and sump pumps to drain it down my driveway. I used to love when it rained in LA (yes, it does rain in Southern California), but came to dread it because of this situation.

I searched high and low for a contractor that could engineer a solution. Seriously, I was interviewing contractors pre-pandemic, and it was a challenge then. Being a woman, you can imagine some of the price ranges I was given to resolve my problem. Some quotes were so extreme, I contemplated giving up a kidney; I wanted this issue resolved THAT badly.
